なにごとも、やってみるといちばんよくわかります。というわけで、実践！給与計算では、ある架空の会社を題材に実際に給与計算事務をやってみながら、 作業の進め方や注意しなければならないポイントについて、説明して行くことにします。
題材となる会社について

株式会社おぐろ製菓店は、創業４０年の伝統ある和菓子店です。
役員２名、従業員３名、パート従業員２名、合わせて７名の小さな会社ですが、地域の皆様から愛され、お店は繁盛しています。
中でも名物は、創業以来製造し続けている水羊羹。
だから、夏の季節は１年でもっとも忙しい季節ということになります。
ところが、その夏真っ盛りの８月に、困ったことが起きました。
長年会社の事務を一人で担当していた従業員が８月３日に、急に体調を崩して入院してしまったのです。
なにしろいちばん忙しい季節ですから、他の従業員は製造と販売で手一杯。
とても事務の業務をかわりに行うことなどできそうもありません。
そこで、たまたま夏休みで帰省中だった社長のお嬢さん、小黒朋子さんに白羽の矢が立ちました。
朋子さんは、大学で経済学を学んでいますが、実際に給与計算を行ったことなどありません。
なんとかしなければ･･･。
どうしよう、どうしたら良いんだろうと戸惑っているうちにも、給与の支給日８月３１日が迫ってきます。
朋子さんは、無事に給与計算事務を行うことができるのでしょうか？
そして、株式会社おぐろ製菓店は、給与支給日に従業員に給与を支給することができるのでしょうか？
